Epiphone's Futura Series is Sleek and Innovative

— May 1, 2026 — Art & Design
Epiphone has launched the Futura Series — a collection of electric guitars that includes updated versions of iconic shapes such as the Les Paul, SG, Flying V, Explorer, Firebird, ES-355, and RD.

All instruments in the Futura Series feature color-shifting Chromashift finishes, stainless steel frets, compound-radius fingerboards, and newly developed ProBucker Ignite pickups with push-pull controls for coil-splitting and phase switching. These instruments are designed for modern guitarists who need professional-level performance for gigging, recording, content creation, and studio work, and they come equipped with locking Grover tuners, Graph Tech nuts, LockTone bridges, and premium gig bags for transport. The stainless steel frets resist wear much longer than traditional nickel frets, while the compound-radius fingerboard — which flattens from ten inches at the nut to fourteen inches at the heel — makes it easy to play chords low on the neck and bend notes smoothly higher up without fretting out.
