JBL Boasts the New BandBox Solo and Trio Models

JBL has introduced a new category of AI-powered speakers with the BandBox range, which comprises two models — the Solo and the Trio. This innovative portable audio equipment integrates a speaker system with a suite of tools specifically for musicians.

The core innovation of JBL's BandBox is the inclusion of an on-device artificial intelligence processor capable of separating the individual components of a pre-recorded song — such as isolating or removing vocals, guitar, or drums — in real time without requiring an internet connection. This stem separation feature is paired with built-in digital effects, amp modeling, practice utilities like a tuner and looper, and a companion mobile application for deeper control. The larger BandBox Trio model adds a multi-channel mixer and a replaceable battery.

The BandBox product range is designed to serve as both practice amplifiers and general Bluetooth speakers.
