Yamaha boasts a new electronic musical instrument line, dubbed the MODX M. These synthesizers are positioned as a more accessible alternative to the company's premium MONTAGE M line.

The MODX M electronic musical instrument range consists of three distinct models, each featuring a different keyboard size and key mechanism tailored to various playing preferences. From synthesizer performance to piano-style playing, the offerings integrate multiple sound generation technologies designed to produce a wide spectrum of audio like emulations of classic analog equipment, realistic sampled instruments, and modern digital tones.

The physical design includes numerous hands-on controls like faders and a large central knob for real-time sound manipulation. A notable inclusion is a software plugin version of the synthesizer, offered at no additional cost to registered owners.
