Top 100 Tech Trends in August

The August 2020 tech trends can be split into a few categories, most voluminous of which would be new gadgets that inform sanitation practices, social distancing, and health protection, as well as technology that is geared to relieving heat exhaustion during the warmer months.

The Reon Pocket is a great example of the latter. This is a wearable air conditioner that can be seamlessly inserted in a v-neck t-shirt. The device is said to be able to reduce body temperature by 13°C when needed.

Personal protection equipment is also becoming increasingly high-tech as many are required to wear face coverings for their own safety during the ongoing pandemic. The UVMask which uses UVC light to sterilize the air and the Nuo 3D which relies on generative design for a perfect fit are two great examples of this.
