The conceptual Ducky Thermometer has been designed by Geonwoo Kang as a comforting piece of at-home healthcare equipment that makes the process of monitoring temperature less intimidating.
The thermometer features a handheld construction that's engineered to look like a small duck-inspired toy and works in a contactless manner. The duck-like thermometer only needs to be pointed at the forehead and activated to start the temperature reading process. The device will then display one of three ducks to correlate to the reading: Active Duck for a normal reading, Resting Duck to indicate an elevated reading and Sick Duck for high fevers.
