Top 100 Shoes Trends in August

The August 2019 shoe trends are comprised of a wide range of different design inspirations, unique construction, collaborative projects, and much more. The list pushes creative limits and explores new ways to raise awareness or highlight sustainability.

One of the standout footwear designs of the month was exercised by Converse and Chinatown Market. The collaborative project takes the signature Chuck 70 Ox and the Chuck 70 model and updates the construction to feature color-changing elements. The technology used to make the sneakers are responsive to UV lighting and shifts through shades of blue, orange, and pink.

Another great shoe trend this month was by none other than Nike and its Shoe Dog collection, inspired by Phil Knight. The capsule features new iterations of the Cortez by bringing concept designs from the earlier design process to life.
