Engineered Garments works in collaboration with New Balance on three colorway options for the signature 990v5 sneaker model. The sneaker is part of the Nepenthes pop-up for New Balance located in New York and the collaborative sneaker arrives in asymmetrical tonal designs.
The three colorway options include navy blue, black, and gray -- the gray option features contrasting colors across both the medial and lateral sides. The navy blue and the black options blend together suede materials with alligator skin-style leather materials. The clashing upper is made up of a series of different leather materials that cover a mesh base foundation. At the heels are some suede paneling accents and it all sits atop an ENCAP midsole.
