atmos works in collaboration with New Balance on the latest iteration of the 1000 sneaker model dubbed Bāṅdhnū. It was previewed last month and has just been officially announced for the American sportswear brand's Grey Days campaign. The Bāṅdhnū translates to 'toe tie' in Hindi.
It explores the many concepts of how bandanas are used as symbols. The sneaker has a black nubuck build overlaying the upper with an original paisley pattern in white for tonal contrast. There are also matching bandanas that are given out to select shoppers of the model.
