As a musical trio, the Beastie Boys have left a substantial mark on skate, hip-hop, and graffiti culture, and their contributions have been now commemorated with this all-new special edition footwear silhouette. The adidas Skateboarding x Beastie Boys Americana is a three-way collaboration between the brand, the group, and Beyond The Streets.
The shoe features a vegan canvas upper that sits atop a classic gum sole. The special edition footwear comes in a palette that mixes off-white and light grey tones. As most adidas silhouettes, the shoes boast the classic three stripes branding on the lateral, while the Beastie Boys reference is contained in a masterfully designed logo by artist Eric Haze. This element is visible on the tongue and the sock liner badging.
The special edition footwear was unveiled at a private event, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Paul's Boutique.
