Paint-Splattered Embroidered Sneakers

Nike and Bandulu Street Couture Collab on a Kyrie 5 Sneaker

Nike works in conjunction alongside Bandulu Street Couture to create a new iteration of the Kyrie 5 sneaker model. Artist Pat Peltier decorates the model in brightly colored embroidered accents in careful shapes that represent paint splatters.

The color palette features hues of beige, lavender, red, olive green, and blue, splattered throughout the uppers as well as the toe cap. The overall design aesthetic looks careless, which juxtaposes the intricate attention paid to every accent and expression. The tongue features branding details nodding to Bandulu Street Couture in a light green color that also coats the neoprene collar. The uppers are predominantly beige and arrive in a soft fabric paired in contrast to a structural lace cage that reads "Kyrie" and "Irving" on each foot.
