Heritage sportswear label Hi-Tec introduces the Badwater 146 in an all-white colorway with some subtle contrasting details. The latest iteration of the signature footwear model highlights some of the details from the original launch back in 1989.
This was a time that recognized the model as footwear prepared for both road and trail running purposes, namely suggested as the 146 mile Badwater ultra-marathon. The sneaker's uppers are constructed from white mesh materials throughout the uppers predominantly, with overlays informed by leather at the toe box as well as the heel. Branding details are accented in the synthetic fabric at the side panels and there are tonal details in brown and sage green found at the heel The sneaker is rounded out with a treaded sole as a touch of retro design elements.
