Despite the advent of television and the computer, there are still plenty of people who like to read. Holding a book or a magazine satisfies our sense of touch (and possibly smell if the book is old and musty) which the modern entertainment and information sources just don’t deliver. However, there are indeed new digital ways to read and share the written word. From lightweight magazines and comic books to heftier tomes, this cluster covers popup and flip books, art made from books, a variety of bookcases and reading gadgets for the bookaholic. The competitive world of magazines with periodic new launches and belly-ups, have also given rise to a range of sexy fashion and celebrity covers and articles which scream “Buy me!”.
