Trader Joe's Organic Cold Brew Mocha Nut Latte Has a Cashew-Almond Base

Trader Joe's recently introduced a new ready-to-drink product called the 'Organic Cold Brew Mocha Nut Latte,' which boasts a creamy base of almonds and cashews. The bottled beverage product also includes organic ground coffee beans, cocoa powder and dates, plus Himalayan pink salt, vanilla beans and cinnamon for added taste.

After the ingredient have been blended, Trader Joe's notes that the non-dairy drink undergoes High Pressure Processing (HPP), which is described as "a cold, water-pressure-based alternative to heat pasteurization."

The new vegan-friendly nut-based beverage converges the of-the-moment popularity of dairy-free drinks with cold brew beverages, offering a satisfying, healthy and refreshing alternatives to many conventional latte options on the market. In general, healthy nut-based milk and lattes are currently coming into the spotlight as protein-rich alternatives to conventional dairy products.
