The May 2022 health trends consist of a wide variety of innovations ranging from sleep-inducing THC supplements and immune-boosting beverages to teeth whitening wipes and psychedelic wellness retreats. And although diversity may be this collection's defining feature, there were a couple of overarching themes that emerged this May that are certainly worthy of note.
To start, it appeared that the healthcare industry began readily embracing the Web3 and metaverse revolution. For example, iMining Technologies, a leading Web3 tech company, partnered with Pharmacy Group to launch the world's first metaverse pharmacy in Decentraland. Similarly, health tech company Aimedis debuted the "biggest hospital and healthcare space in the metaverse," called Aimedis Health City, which has been designed to streamline specific hospital processes while still offering patients a lifelike patient-doctor experience.
Elsewhere, numerous adaptogenic health products were released this month, signaling a growing demand for the unique plant-based ingredient. For instance, B&B Studio launched a natural adaptogenic supplements brand called The Herbtender, which offers a range of products aimed at helping the body better regulate the stresses of daily life.
