CVS is bringing pharmacy and health care clinics to the Metaverse, marking one of the first drugstore chains to enter the virtual space. Currently, the healthcare company is looking to patent its stores along with sales of virtual goods in the Metaverse. CVS will allow customers to purchase prescription drugs, wellness, beauty, and personal care products in the online space.

CVS requested that its online store provides downloadable virtual goods to its customers, as stated in the company's trademark request. In addition, the online platform will give patients access to the same health services it provides in its in-store clinics, like its telehealth platform, as well as nutrition and wellness coaching for non-emergency medical treatment services.
