CVS Health Virtual Primary Care Offers 24/7 Support

CVS Health Virtual Primary Care has been announced as a new initiative to help expand access to care and deliver on-demand support to those who need it most. The brand is rolling out the program to Aetna commercial members across the US who are enrolled in fully insured and self-insured health plans. The program will enable a member to schedule in a visit with a primary care professional from the provider they select, while also providing access to quick care on a 24/7 basis for a variety of common illnesses and infections.

Senior Vice President of Retail Health at CVS Health Creagh Milford spoke on CVS Health Virtual Primary Care saying, "CVS Health Virtual Primary Care offers a more connected health care experience that supports patients throughout their health care journey. By taking a care team approach and utilizing technology, we can provide more longitudinal and holistic care to create stronger relationships between patients and their providers.”
