Wellness means different things to different consumers, and the May 2017 wellness trends show just how varied the category is. For some, wellness is a purely mental concept centered around meditation and mindfulness. For others, it's mostly a physical pursuit — not fitness per se, but a mission to feel healthy. Still others take it as a holistic practice, combining mind and body.
Yoga is a seamless combination of the mind and body aspects of wellness, and there are plenty of yoga products from companies that happily subvert the stated purpose of the Buddhist practice. ChromaYoga, for instance, combines color therapy (which is relatively new form of therapy that matches colors to their archetypal moods) with different tempos and styles of yoga.
