Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, an Australian 4-star resort, teamed up with the Australian Open of Surfing to create a free to enter pop-up beach bar. The event was open for nine days, to give patrons the chance to watch competitions from balconies equipped with lawn chairs, refreshing cocktails, and more.
The pop-up beach bar stayed true to the Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel's branding, as it made use of white and blue stripes on its large umbrellas, and a "beach-shack vibe." Although the surfing competition provided a lot of entertainment for attendees, the pop-up beach bar also featured DJs, relaxing acoustic guitar performances, and even yoga classes in the morning. In addition to an impressive cocktail selection, fresh seafood dishes like Hawaiian poke were also available.
