From Corrected Aromatherapy to Smart Baby Cribs

 - Nov 27, 2016
The top ideas for the internet of things in November 2016 reveal smart and connected devices that many would not expect. With everything from connected aromatherapy devices to self-rocking cribs, these devices work to improve the quality of life of individuals.

'AromaCare' is an aromatherapy device that uses technology rather than heat and water in order to give off various scents. It comes with 'synergy' pods that consist of various blends of essential oils that were put together to target specific ailments. Once a pod is chosen, users of this aromatherapy device can simply turn it on via the accompanying smartphone app and enjoy the benefits of whichever synergy blend they chose.

The 'Snoo' is a smart crib that is able to ensure that infants have a restful sleep each night. The crib is able to self-rock, it can detect when babies cry and also when they move around restlessly. It allows for parents of newborns to get some restful sleep as well, while still monitoring how their children's nighttime patterns can be improved.
