At this year's CEATEC, or Japan's top technology show in Tokyo, Panasonic unveiled a forward-thinking sake and wine storage cellar.
The smart and sake wine cellar boasts a transparent glass panel that serves to show off the products inside, as well as serve as the smart panel for interactions when activated by a switch. Some of the most impressive features of the smart wine display includes information on the humidity and temperature of the unit, as well as the ability to suggest food pairings and recipes based on the items contained inside.
As of now, Panasonic reports the technology behind its smart sake and wine storage cellar is still under development and will take at least another three years before the system sees a commercial release.
