From Body Confidence Editorials to Empowering Feminist Campaigns

There has been a continued rise in the popularity of body confidence campaigns that focus on women being healthy and having good self-confidence. Magazines, clothing companies and beauty companies have all contributed to the numerous campaigns for women feeling beautiful, strong and confident in their own skin.

Dove has long been a champion for body confidence campaigns aimed at women and young girls. Its latest ad, '#MyBeautyMySay' features an athlete, a professional and a model all overcoming the stigmas they were labeled with to accomplish their goals.

The Women's Health Naked Issue features celebrities and Olympic athletes, who have all battled and overcome insecurities to be confident in their bodies.

Undergarment brand Aerie has been using models with various body types in its unedited ads since 2014.
