Future-forward tech innovations, bold new business partnerships, and a variety of exciting product launches all served to shape the April 2022 new venture trends. And although the new business developments included in this list span a wide range of industries, there are a few recurring themes worth taking note of.
For example, new metaverse-based developments were front and center this month. HSBC Bank stated that it will be purchasing a large piece of digital land in The Sandbox metaverse in an effort to connect with gaming fanatics. Meanwhile, Adobe announced the launch of a new suite of creation tools geared toward the metaverse including the 'Adobe Substance 3D Modeler.'
A standout development, however, was the launch of the world's first full-fledged Metaverse Fashion Week hosted by Decentraland, which saw a wide range of notable brands such as Dolce&Gabbana and Tommy Hiliigfer showcase their digital-only clothing lines.
