Adobe's 'Behance' Now Supports the Polygon Cryptocurrency Platform

'Behance,' Adobe's network for creating and showcasing creative content, has added a new integration with the Polygon cryptocurrency platform. Polygon is an Ethereum-based NFT platform, meaning it is more eco-friendly than some of its competitors based on other blockchains. Adobe selected Polygon for this reason, as many creators on Behance were against the environmental damage caused by some NFT platforms.
Polygon, though, allows for artists to create NFTs with a lower energy requirement and a lower transaction cost than other platforms. Once a Behance user creates an NFT on Polygon, the NFT can be listed for sale on 'OpenSea,' the popular NFT marketplace. Behance's native support of Polygon and OpenSea then allows the creator to embed a link to purchase their NFT directly in a post on Behance. This is intended to familiarize content creators with the world of cryptocurrency and NFTs while providing more opportunities for creators to monetize their content.
