Meta Announces That You Can Now Post NFTs on Instagram and Facebook

Meta has announced that starting Aug 30, 2022, users can now post their NFTs on Instagram and Facebook. This functionality allows users to connect their digital wallets from Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, and Dapper Wallet and post their own digital collectibles. However, cross-posting on Instagram and Facebook is only available for users based in the US at the moment.

“As we continue rolling out digital collectibles on Facebook and Instagram, we’ve started giving people the ability to post digital collectibles that they own across both Facebook and Instagram. This will enable people to connect their digital wallets once to either app in order to share their digital collectibles across both,” Meta commented in a blog post.

Meta has also announced plans to pioneer custom animations for NFT posts alongside digital collectible collections. Users can expect NFT Instagram stories and Spark AR experiences to come next from the company.
