Social App-Connected Smartglasses

The Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses Can Now Post onto Instagram

Meta adds more updates to the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses with a spotlight on its ability to post directly onto Instagram Stories. It adds to the hands-free technology as the images can be shared with just audio. Users just need to say "Hey Meta, share my last photo to Instagram" or if the photo is already in the library, users can say "Hey Meta, post a photo to Instagram."

Additionally, the smart eyewear can also access other functions such as playing music on Amazon Music by saying "Hey Meta, play Amazon Music" to start the listening experience through the open-ear audio system. To control the audio, users have touch controls in addition to the voice activation.
