'Nimo Planet' is a company aiming to revolutionize the smart glasses sector with its 'Nimo Beta Glasses.' These glasses are not augmented reality or virtual reality-enabled, but they are highly convenient smart glasses. While AR and VR glasses are exciting for entertainment and industry, the Nimo Beta Glasses target the productivity sector instead.

Nimo Planet hopes to use its smart glasses to target traveling professionals. The glasses have six embedded 720p screens and can connect to a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, essentially turning into an ultra-lightweight laptop. These screens are the scaled equivalent of working in front of a large, 45-inch screen. While laptops can weigh from one to seven pounds, the Nimo Beta Glasses weigh only 120 grams, and Nimo hopes to get the weight down to 90 grams by the time the product releases. The glasses also come with a carrying case that doubles as a charging station, similar to many wireless earbuds.
