'Eckhaus Latta,' the bicoastal luxury fashion label, has announced an NFT collection titled 'EL10,' to celebrate the brand's 10th year of operation. These celebratory NFTs each commemorate one iconic look from Eckhaus Latta's 20-collection-long, decade-long history. The renderings of the clothing and shoes in the NFTs was performed by Leeseongil, a South Korean artist and designer. The rendering of the bodies and hair, in addition to the design of the background, was done by Lije Morgan, and the landscape photography for the special "ultra-rare" backgrounds was done by KangHee Kim. Following in the label's signature pattern of using unconventional designs and materials, the NFTs depict figures with a wide range of skin tones such as green and purple, along with varying backgrounds, and outfits.
The EL10 NFT collection will launch on 'Ponyo Impact,' a cryptocurrency platform that has entered into a partnership with Eckhaus Latta. The NFT collection will be based on the Ethereum blockchain, making it more sustainable than many other Blockchain networks. Additionally, Eckhaus Latta and Ponyo Impact will donate 30% of the sales from the EL10 collection to 'Bottomless Closet,' an American charitable organization that helps women enter the workforce in society.
