Street food becomes more efficient with the use of autonomous technology
Implications - While the nature of street food is cuisine that is easy and accessible, the emergence of technology has resulted in street food becoming even more efficient in terms of consumption. Utilizing robotics, autonomous delivery and self-serve tactics, food vendors are relying less on human engagement and more on technology to give consumers a greater sense of independence and control when it comes to ordering food. This not only speaks to the growing use of technology when it comes to consumer experiences, but also to the growing desire for autonomy in even the most simple of tasks.
