Once again, a standout theme this month was the prevalence of new developments in the space of NFTs and the metaverse. Facebook announced that it will be changing its name to 'Meta' as it embraces the burgeoning virtual reality space, while metaverse platform Decentraland hosted its first-ever multi-day music festival.
