The Cue ring is a wearable smart device that keeps track of blood alcohol concentration levels to prevent cab drivers from driving drunk, thereby protecting their passengers as well. The wearable gadget works in conjunction with a connected cab rental app.
To track the wearer's blood alcohol concentration levels, the ring tracks the user's sweat from their palms and fingers. These areas on the body have a large concentration of sweat glands, making it easy for the device to analyze. Moreover, the ring also tracks the pulse rate and body temperatures for signs of unfit physical conditions for driving. All the collected information is synced with the cab service provider's app, which keeps the passengers informed and updated.
