Visa and NFT artist Micah Johnson are introducing an NFT creator program to support the next generation of digital creators who want to monetize their work. With this program, Visa aims to "lower the barrier to entry" to NFTs, so that it's easier for digital creators to learn more about NFTs and the world of cryptocurrency.
The program for those who want to monetize their content in the form of NFTs will start with an open call and a class will be assembled from the applicants.
Artist and former MLB player Micah Johnson will take on the role of a collaborator in this project, helping the company and creators with his expertise in the space. Johnson sold his first NFT in 2020 and now plans to help other digital creators do the same.
