15 Futuristic Car Options

It’s exciting to imagine the options the cars of the future will have. We’ve covered a number of futuristic breakthroughs in automotive technology, and the most promising of the bunch are featured below.

Honda has already created a color-coded speedometer that glows green when drivers accelerate and brake smoothly; when they drive too aggressively, the speedometer glows a deep blue. Rearview mirrors and steering wheels will also make the most of their utility with integrated GPS and games. Self-steering technology--like that used in the buses in Berkeley, California--will continue to improve. And even sports cars will ramp up their all-weather capability for year-round use.
