aiMotive and LG Debut a Auto Computing Platform
A collaborative venture between the automotive AI software firm aiMotive and the electronics manufacturer LG will debut a consolidated computing platform for vehicles at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. Dubbed High-Performing Computing, this next-generation system is engineered to perform the dual functions of in-cabin entertainment and driver assistance from a singular hardware unit.
The aiMotive x LG consolidated computing platform is designed to streamline vehicle architecture by merging these traditionally separate systems to support features like highway navigation assistance, traffic signal recognition, and automated lane changes, while also presenting driving data and alerts through a unified digital dashboard interface intended to minimize driver distraction.
Gábor Pongrácz, SVP of aiDrive, shared: "Our expertise in AI-powered software and deep understanding of the automotive ecosystem enable us to deliver scalable and reliable solutions for automated driving. We are proud to be partnering with LG, and to contribute our technology to a platform that will make driving safer and more intelligent."
