The Toyota RAV4 Dark Side Performance concept has been showcased by the brand ahead of the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS) as a darkly reimagining of the brand's signature namesake SUV model. The vehicle takes the SUV model into a decidedly darker territory when compared to its conventionally rugged profile and will call to mind the ethos of sci-fi movies, video games, anime and more. The vehicle is meant to push boundaries related to design, innovation and public perception, and elevate it into a new area not yet explored.
The Toyota RAV4 Dark Side Performance concept looks almost ready for outer space, but would be right at home on a variety of terrains thanks to its Off-Road Package trim base.
