Volkswagen Presents its ID. Buzz AD Robotic Taxi Vehicle
Volkswagen introduces a look at its new ID. Buzz AD robotic taxi. It is now ready for production, proving that it is not just another concept car. It is unveiling an entirely autonomous electric van that is prepared to take on the real world as soon as next year. The design boasts a retro theme with plenty of tech packed into it.
It is meant for ride-pooling and will be rolling out its operations in cities including Los Angeles and Hamburg. The build is by the team at MOIA and it runs on Mobileye's Level 4 self-driving system -- this is able to navigate through the complexities of city traffic without having to rely on human input under certain conditions.
