Scenes from horror movies and age-old tales from fables tell of face-contorting, shape-shifting demonic creatures of the dark that are enough to give you nightmares. These paranormal creatures lurk in the shadows and are said to come out on Halloween. Typically, they are associated with the underworld, death and are represented in some way in most religions --understandably, they can be quite frightening.
