Scenes from horror movies and age-old tales from fables tell of face-contorting, shape-shifting demonic creatures of the dark that are enough to give you nightmares. These paranormal creatures lurk in the shadows and are said to come out on Halloween. Typically, they are associated with the underworld, death and are represented in some way in most religions --understandably, they can be quite frightening.
Some demonic creatures can look almost human-like, except for their horns and extremely dark forms. Because they share so many similarities to humans, this just seems to make them all the more haunting.
As terrifying as some demons can be, some photoshoots and fashion editorials turn these slightly scary monsters into creatures that play up the forbidden allure of the dark side.
