Top 100 Auto Trends for 2022

From Sustainable All-Electric RVs to Corner-Cruising Quadricycles:

The 2022 auto trends are primarily influenced by global concerns over climate change and the increasing consumer expectation for highly integrated digital experiences – in the home, at work, while shopping, and, of course, in the car. As a result, electrification, self-driving assistants, exhaustive lists of high-tech features, and the global ushering-in of micro-mobility initiatives have all emerged as standout trends for 2022.

In 2021, Honda unveiled its 'e:N Series,' an expansive fleet of all-electric vehicles that will be exclusively sold in China. According to Honda, the slew of future-friendly EV offerings supports the company’s newfound pledge to only produce electric or hybrid electric vehicles after 2030. Meanwhile, Nissan has unveiled the 'Nissan Futures,' a line of four high-tech electric vehicle concepts geared towards specific driving "personas."

Elsewhere, French automobile brand Citroën unveiled its latest mico-mobility vehicle, the all-electric Buggy Concept – a unique EV that the company is positioning as an urban mobility solution for those too young to hold a full driver's license.
