SylvanSport, an American adventure camping vehicle manufacturer, has teamed up with Zeus Electric Chassis to reveal its first-ever all-electric concept dubbed 'Leading the Charge.' The new concept comes in the form of an electric-powered RV -- an ambitious undertaking considering the excessive amount of juice RVs require to function.
The new eco-friendly vehicle will be powered by liquid-cooled permanent magnet AC motors, which are capable of producing 290 HP and 3,000 lb-ft of torque with a range of up to 400 miles. In order to handle tough terrain, the RV will be equipped with AWD military-grade axles and independent rear and front coil spring suspension. In addition, it will boast a variety of other environmentally conscious features including innovative new systems for reducing waste and recycling water.
