Self-Propelled Electric Trailers

Airstream Unveiled the eStream and Thor Vision Vehicle EVs

Airstream unveiled two newly announced EV concepts. The eStream and Thor Vision Vehicle mark the vehicle company's first step into the electric vehicle realm. Airstream worked closely with European subsidiary Erwin Hymer Group and tech company ZF to develop the eStream trailer and address lingering issues of power limitations for towing vehicles. Additional considerations include the eStream's weight, which is more significant than typical trailers. However, the team has considered all potential problems.

The Thor Vision Vehicle, on the other hand, is a Ford Transit-based motorhome EV with a 300-mile range. It includes a digital cockpit with extensive tools. Both EVs are still in the conceptual phase. However, they showcase how technological progress is impacting all industries.
