The 'Pagurus' catamaran has been designed by the Lazzarini Design Studio as an unexpectedly capable vessel that would provide explorers with a way to enjoy time on the water as well as on dry land.
The vessel is nicknamed the 'Crabamaran' thanks to its ability to be right at home on both the water and dry land thanks to the helical spiral flange on the hull. Powered by twin 890 horsepower diesel engines, the vessel is capable of achieving a top speed of 24 knots and features a set of solar panels on top that are capable of generating energy for charging the onboard batteries for leisure cruising at five knots.
The 'Pagurus' catamaran could easily traverse on sand or mud at a speed of 30km/h to make it great for exploring a range of territories.
