Lean Cuisine Launched Its First-Ever Vegan Frozen Meals

Lean Cuisine recently added to its Origins subline with a few new meatless options, including two fully vegan frozen meals. Lean Cuisine's Origins puts a focus on offering free-from foods, be it meatless or gluten-free options, with an emphasis on clean, organic ingredients.

The introduction of Coconut Chickpea Curry and the Sicilian-Style Pesto with Lentil Pasta mark the brand's first foray into plant-based packaged frozen meals. While the chickpea-based dish combines tomatoes and long-grain brown rice, the pesto pasta frozen meal is packed with vegetables like roasted red peppers, yellow carrots and spinach.

As well as appealing to health-conscious consumers—whether they identify as vegan or not—with their organic, non-GMO and meatless ingredients, the Origins line also delivers quick and easy meal options that are rich in plant-based protein and made without artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
