UK supermarket chain Sainsbury's recently released a noteworthy new advertisement that was shot on Snap Spectacles.
As the social media sharing glasses feature a 115-degree camera lens that is meant to mimic how humans really see the world, the shots share familiar perspectives and scenes from the kitchen. In the short 10-second video, Sainsbury's captured the feeling of having a group huddle over a pot of food.
The video advertisement was rolled out to Snapchat users in the UK and those with the platform are able to rotate the screen of their device to get a better look around. To accompany this short and sweet social media video ad, Sainsbury's released a series of recipes for the fall. Campaigns shot with Snap's Spectacles have the potential to create many visceral experiences for mobile viewing.
