Snapchat's Spotlight is aiming to take on creative short form content, allowing users can record 60-second videos that are reminiscent of Instagram reels, or TikTok videos.
In true social media style, Snapchat is recruiting influencers and creatives to post using the new format. Doubling down on the feature, the app will pay $1 million USD daily to those who upload the most entertaining or engaging videos.
