This chewing gum packaging by designer Hani Douaji was developed as a concept for Trident Xtra Care, a gum that's meant to be chewed in between meals for brighter smiles. Taking inspiration from mouth, teeth and fresh breath, the concept is both playful and fun.
Douaji's design makes the chewing gum sleeve look like a smiling mouth, exposing a set of pearly white chewing gum pieces. The blister pack is colored pink to give the illusion of gums and there are different designs featuring both male and female mouths. Although all of the pictures are shown with the gum packages perfectly in tact, there's something just as charming about the idea of the teeth disappearing from the mouths as the pieces of gum are popped out.
