The dark can be a scary place, but night lights for kids are a fun way to brighten up a bedroom so that bedtime is fun rather than terrifying. Although it seems natural to go for a night light with a starry or nighttime theme, there are night light shapes for just about everything under the sun, including popular characters, nature and even some more abstract designs that are even soothing to look at.
In addition to being something friendly to look at, many night lights include comforting projections and sounds. Night lights do help to put kids at ease from afar, but there are also night light-like teddy bears, pillows and toys that are designed to be cuddly illuminators that can be brought into bed.
