Implications - Tea-based beverages are becoming not only an alternative to soda, but bottled water as well, as consumers search for beverages that are both healthy and appealing. Consumers appreciate the natural flavoring of tea, as well as associate the beverage with extra health benefits that they don't necessarily associate with natural sweeteners. Hydration is no longer merely hydration, as consumers continue to search for the most concentrated, fortified health solutions.
