In order to serve consumers opting to eat plant-based meals, Urban Plates, the California-based chain of eateries with healthy foods, recently expanded its menu to include three different plant-based bowls for $9 USD. The new menu items will be available nationwide in 2020.
Urban Plates' nutritious bows are all gluten-free and include: Beets + Avocado -- featuring quinoa, avocado, beets, dates, hemp seeds, cabbage, coconut, onion, dates, walnuts, and miso lemongrass dressing; the Chickpea + Sweet Potato -- featuring green lentils, red cabbage, chickpeas, sweet potatoes, kale pesto, green peas, goji berries, and harissa sauce; and Poblano + Roasted Corn -- featuring red lentils, roasted poblanos, tomato pesto, celery, red cabbage, corn, pumpkin seeds, and chipotle lime dressing.
