The Stick Lamp Collection looks like it was made out of a stack of popsicle sticks or the larger tongue depressor. Appropriately dubbed, the light fixtures may have a crafty aesthetic, but they were most certainly not assembled as part of a grade school project. Instead, the forms of the lamps are at once simple and intricate.
Designed by Matali Crasset, a designer based in Paris, France, the Stick Lamp Collection was created for Fabbian Illuminazione. It is comprised of a table lamp, a wall lamp, four floor lamps and five suspension lamps as well as four different diffuser shapes. Crasset writes, "While the texture of the wood permits diffusing a soft and warm light, the repetition of the module creates an effect of unexpected graphics and shadows."
