Umbrella-Inspired Whimsical Lamps

Solenn Roch Designs the Wasaga Lamp with a Flared Look

The Wasaga Lamp is a captivating lighting system designed by Solenn Roch. It can be adjusted in various ways including the brightness and light angles. The lamp is designed with inspiration from the shape of an umbrella and is constructed using flexible Ryvek fabric materials that are attached to wooden rods.

It can be shut similar to an umbrella, which is the increase and decrease of illumination. The design is comprised of only two materials besides the bulb and electrical housing. The Tyvek shade is light and thin which is supported by the aforementioned wooden structure that holds it up. The brand notes, "The translucent Dupont Tyvek material diffuses light softly, creating a warm atmosphere.”
